Every member of the S.D.H. Plumbing & Heating team is fully licensed, insured, and trained on all equipment they service, install, and maintain. To keep their skills current and stay on top of the latest industry trends and technological advances, our team regularly attends formal training sessions for brands that include Kohler and American Standard. This means the people working in your home are capable, skilled, and conscientious.

S.D.H. Plumbing & Heating’s team of professionals is 15 strong and growing. That means we are more responsive to your needs and offer you more comprehensive services than a smaller company can. Some of our senior team members have amassed more than 30 years of experience in the field—that’s why you’ll regularly see our apprentices, observing and learning from these seasoned professionals. Our founder got into plumbing during his first year out of high school and has been in the trade ever since. In fact, you may recognize some of the same familiar faces you knew and trusted from Porter Plumbing.

Our team members treat your home with the same care and attention to detail they’d use as if they were working on their own homes. We’ll arrive at your place on time and ready to get right to work. Sam, our founder, was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. After getting married, he moved to Waltham, where he rebuilt his wife’s childhood home. His kids are in the Waltham school district. Sam, his team, and their families live where you live, and they face the same issues and worries as homeowners that you do. We understand the pride, passion, and hard work that goes into caring for and maintaining your home.
